By joining the Celtae Street Team, you have a direct opportunity to ensure that your favorite music artists are heard by as many people as possible. You'll have direct access to special promotional material and can enter contests for limited edition prizes as well.
What is a Street Team?
Street Teams are comprised of groups of fans that get together to help expose their favorite band to friends, family and fellow music listeners. Members use the band's promotional materials like Samplers, Stickers, Flyers and Posters to give away to potential fans. The team also spreads the word online via sharing MP3s, email, and radio station requests.
What do I have to do as a Street Team member?
All we ask is that you use the promo items we send to you to reach out to music fans like yourself, promote the band, and let us know about what you are doing by sending us feedback and taking pictures. Bring the promo materials to concerts, work, school, events, etc. (anywhere you can meet potential fans.) Specific ideas include (but are definitely not limited to!) promoting artists in retail outlets, lifestyle stores, venues, and on the streets. You can also help promote specific shows for artists. We are also available to support other ideas you have to get the word out about these great artists.
Where are some good places to give away promo materials?
Give materials away at places where people like yourself hang out. In case you're looking for some ideas, here's a list of places that are good places to hand out promo stuff:
- After shows, outside a club, arena
- College Campuses (Bookstores, Dormitories, Student Union Buildings, Radio Stations, TV Stations, Cafeterias, Fraternity Houses, Sorority Houses)
- High schools (Home room, cafeteria)
- Music Retail Stores (Independent Record Stores, Video & DVD Stores) & Music Equipment Shops
- Lifestyle Shops (Unique Clothing Stores, Army Surplus Stores, Thrift Shops)
- Tattoo and Body Piercing Shops
- Highland Games
- Celtic cultural events
- Movie Screenings
- Athletic & sporting places like gyms
- Coffee Shops
Hang Flyers on Telephone Poles, Corkboards, Message Boards, Lockers, etc.
